The internets favorite goop-loving derm just compared herself to Dracula. TBH, the label is pretty fitting for Dr. Pimple Popper, aka Sandra Lee, MD-considering she just squeezed a pretty hefty cyst on a patient's neck in her most recent YouTube video.
While you might have thought the removal of grey-ish gunk that's been sliced and squeezed out from underneath someone's skin would be the main event, turns out the "icing on the cake," for Dr. P, according to Instagram , is actually the removal of the sack wall that comes after the cyst's oozed out.
But before I get ahead of myself, here's how Dr. P earned herself #DraculaStatus:
The clip starts out with a small incision being made right on the cysts's surface. Once Dr. P is satisfied with its size, she goes for her tweezers and scissors, which she uses to cut the skin open just a little bit more.
Then, after telling her patient she's going to go for it, she does just that. Pinching the area around the cyst with both hands, Dr. Lee goes in and the puss starts spurting out. And though it seems to be flowing out of the patient's neck with ease, Dr. P admits that she's actually squeezing pretty hard to get the whole cyst out of there.
This cyst, which the doc says is nice and "virginal"-meaning it's never been squeezed before-required a few more two-handed pinches and some more slicing before it totally made its way out, but Dr. Lee was pretty confident it would never make a comeback.
Then came the good stuff (well, according to Dr. P). She went back into the cut with her tweezers and scissors and starts tugging and snipping at the neck wound, now seemingly clear and puss-free. She collected any last pieces of the cyst's sack before sewing her patient up and moving on to tackle her next pop which, let's face, it everyone's hoping is as goopy as this one.
