It seems like wine or some sort of libation made an appearance in every scene, but Chris Coelen, one of the show's creators, told OpragMag.com that despite the Love Is Blind contestants' many imbibing sessions, no one was ever pressured to drink. "We wanted them to make the decisions and them to control their destiny. It wasn't like, 'Hey, guys! Cocktail party time.' Whatever you wanna do, do it," Coelen explained to the publication.
