During an appearance on BBC Radio 1 while on the press tour for the movie, stars Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson gamely took part in a roasting challenge called, appropriately enough, 'Playground Insults'-and things got personal real quick.
"Chris, you're ugly," said ScarJo in her opening volley. "Everyone's been talking about it, you're just really ugly."
"Beauty is on the inside," Hemsworth parried. "And inside you is just awful!"
Johansson continued by commenting on Hemsworth's "growing collection of grandma cardigans," while he responded by suggesting she is beautiful but dumb. She then revealed that he spends more time in hair and makeup than the rest of the Avengers cast:""What are you even doing in there, getting a whole facelift?"

The rules of 'Playground Insults' are simple: don't hold back, and the first person to crack up loses. Johansson admitted that she's no good at confrontation, but Hemsworth really got into the spirit of the game. It was pretty hard to watch, honestly. Here are a couple of our fave selected zingers:
- "What's Black Widow's super power again? Owning a couple of tasers, or those trident things from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?"
- "I don't think you've ever been on time, Scarlett. Do you need a watch for Christmas?"
- "When you went to the beach the other week, and you had that beach umbrella, did you know it'd eventually turn into the pants you'd be wearing today?"
We knew that the God of Thunder found his sense of humor in Thor: Ragnarok, but we never knew he could be so catty! Perhaps he was really just Loki in disguise.
