Breakfast, anyone? Er, after you watch Dr. Pimple Popper's latest Instagram video, we're guessing your answer will be "I'll pass."
In a new video posted Wednesday-just one day before the new season of her TLC show premieres , folks!-Dr. Sandra Lee, MD treats a patient with a pilar cyst on top of their head. (Pilar cysts form around hair follicles, which is why they tend to be found on the scalp, according to Medical News Today . They're also known as wens, trichilemmal cysts, or isthmus-catagen cysts.)
"I love plucking kernels of wisdom from my patients," Lee wrote in the caption-and by kernel, she clearly means a perfectly-round pilar cyst that looks disturbingly like an egg yolk. In the video, Lee makes an incision over the bump, then squeezes out the spherical cyst with her fingers. Damn, she makes it look easy!
"That thing looked like a pearl!" one commenter wrote.
"Perfect pop!! I love those! So satisfying," another person said.
