Three people lost their lives on Friday after a head on collision between a truck and a saloon car at Kenani area, Kibwezi along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
The three that died including the driver, were passengers in the saloon vehicle.

The accident occurred when the truck heading from Mombasa to Nairobi collided with the saloon car that was travelling in the opposite direction.

Police are yet to establish the cause of the incident.

In February this year, two people were killed in a road accident at Zioni junction at Kibwezi.
Kibwezi deputy commissioner Vitalis Ogur had confirmed that the dead was a woman aged 40 and her 5-year old son.

The tragedy involved a lorry and a saloon car where the lorry lost control after a tyre bust and rammed into the vehicle.
The injured had been rushed to Kibwezi sub-county hospital.
