Officers at Shauri Moyo police station transferred
In a similar move last Thursday, Deputy Inspector General Njoroge Mbugua ordered the relocation of all officers at Shauri Moyo police station after a public uproar.
The complaints came after an officer shot and injured an innocent civilian who had been mistaken for a criminal.
The members of public further pointed out that insecurity in the region had increased due to the incompetence by the officers.
The officers were set to report to their new stations on February 27.
