Jubilee MP in trouble after threatening rape on Ngilu [VIDEO]

Be warned Mr!

Kitui East MP Nimrod Mbai has landed in hot water after he was caught making rape threats against Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu.

In a video clip that was shared widely on social media, Mbai was captured warning Ngiu after she allegedly called on her supporters to strip Jubilee supporters.

“Niliskia akisema ati vijana wakionekana na t-shirt ya Jubilee itolewe, mama akionenekana amevaa t-shirt ya Jubilee arepiwe

Mbai acused Ngilu of intolerance and boldly stated that if Ngilu was seen donning attire belonging to another party she would also be raped.

He demanded Ngilu to issue an apology failure to which the action (rape) she had issued on other women in the area would be done to her.

However, FIDA has now come to Ngilu’s rescue sharply condemning Mbai’s utterances.

“FIDA Kenya would like to strongly condemn the utterance by Hon. Nimrod Mbai towards Hon. Charity Ngilu, we quote, “Charity Ngilu should be raped in her office if she doesn’t drop her hard political stance against Uhuru Kenyatta," FIDA statement read in part.

FIDA Chairwoman Josephine Wambua described the Jubilee-affiliated MP as ignorant. The Federation demanded the legislator to apologise failure to which legal action will be taken against him.

"We take it that the words were intended to intimidate and create fear within Hon. Charity Ngilu, women politicians, and women voters. We, therefore, demand an immediate apology from Hon. Mbai, failure to which we shall take legal action against him.

"Women should not be cowed from vying, taking up and or maintaining political positions. As FIDA Kenya we will continue and encourage women to participate, take up political positions and or vote in electoral processes," FIDA emphasised.
