Self-proclaimed NRM General Miguna Miguna has gone back to Canada following his second deportation out of Kenya.

The outspoken lawyer has been in and out of trouble with the law ever since he was arrested at his Runda home in February which followed his first deportation out of the country.

Despite his efforts to re-enter the country last week for his court hearing, Miguna Miguna was once again deported even before stepping foot out of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Miguna has been vocal about his experiences since he was arrested in February and so has his family.

Erick Ondiek, Miguna’s brother, told The Daily Nation that his brother’s issues with the law began during the mock swearing in of Raila Odinga.

Mr. Ondiek lamented that Miguna Miguna was singled out after the ceremony deeming it unfair.

“There were thousands of people at Uhuru Park. Why only my brother? Why can’t they arrest Raila?” he said.

He went on to question the sincerity of the handshake between Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta basing his argument on the mistreatment of his brother.

“Did the President mean what he said? Does he really mean good?” he asked.

“Everybody, except my brother, was happy because he knew nothing good could come out of the handshake.

"The silence by key opposition leaders has made Miguna and the entire family feel betrayed,” he said.

He further challenged President Kenyatta to speak out on the issues that Dr. Miguna Miguna has been facing.

“If he has done anything wrong he should be taken to court.”

Miguna was for the second time deported back to Canada last week.
