Superintendent of Police Patrick Onyango has been reappointed as Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, a position he once served in two years ago before being replaced by Emilian Kayima who is now serving as the police spokesperson.

The reshuffle in the police force comes two days after the appointment of new Inspector General of Police (IGP) Okoth Ochola.

His appointment is among the many other transfers which were detailed in a radio message by Assistant Inspector off Police Moses Balimwoyo, the Director of Human Resource Management. Over 80 officers have been deployed to different offices of duty.
