NASA leader Raila Odinga cornered with 5 questions after meeting Uhuru

Raila met with Uhuru at Harambee House on Friday

National Super Alliance (NASA) Principal Raila Odinga has been put to task by politicians allied to the opposition to answer 5 questions following his surprise truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Expressing their views on the meeting, a section of Raila’s supporters questioned if the deal meant that the opposition chief had finally accepted the legitimacy of President Uhuru Kenyatta and recognized him as the duly elected president.

Odinga was also asked to come clean on National Resistance Movement (NRM) that was formed to push for electoral justice and reforms that would see fresh elections held within months and hopefully, the coalition taking over power from Jubilee.

Supporters of the NASA chief who swore himself in as the People’s President also demanded a clarification on his role as the people’s president and whether the series of People’s assembly meetings would go on as planned earlier.

The opposition has on numerous occasions accused the Jubilee administration of impunity and abusing the constitution. NASA supporters expressed interest in knowing whether by accepting to work with Uhuru Kenyatta, Odinga had accepted and became part of the impunity and rogue regime he once resisted.

In its push to oust Jubilee from power, NASA and NRM came up with an ambitious plan to boycott products from companies it deemed friendly to the state.

Opposition supporters have asked the NASA boss to come clean on the way forward with the boycott that was meant to b ring the companies to their knees.
