President Uhuru Kenyatta has now responded to NASA petition in supreme court where they alleged electoral irregularities in the recently concluded elections.
This comes after NASA led by Raila Odinga filed a 25,000-page petition in court where they claimed to prove presidential results were manipulated by computer to favour Kenyatta.
In response, the Head of State described as disparaging remarks by Odinga that his leadership was âcomputer generatedâ affirming that he was elected by Kenyans contrary to his allegations.
âThe Deputy President and I are not computer generated leaders (vifaranga vya computer). The electoral victory was effected by the Kenyan voters,â he affirmed.
In a detailed affidavit by Kenyatta, he noted that the difference between his votes and Odinga's was 1,401,286 votes a significant margin that demonstrated the sovereign will of the people.The President attributed his victory to aggressive campaigns prior to the Elections which saw him attend more than 600 rallied across the County.According to the Head of State, NASA did not match the exquisite campaigns displayed by the ruling coalition.
Kenyatta also mentioned that they penetrated the so called NASA strongholds and won seats In such regions.
âIn addition, during the campaign period, the Deputy President and I made significant inroads in areas hitherto regarded as Opposition zones,â the President stated.
Some of the areas perceived to be Opposition strongholds yet Jubilee emerged victorious include: Kakamega (Four seats) Bungoma (four seats) and in Machakos one among others. To further cement his victory claim, the President highlighted that Jubilee won 25 seats for Governors, senators, and woman representatives across the country.  In addition, the ruling coalition secured a majority of seats in the National Assembly 140, while ODM emerged second after garnering 61 seats.The former Prime Minister has refused to concede defeat to Kenyatta maintaining that the results were manipulated by someone who used the late IEBC manager Chris Msando's logins.
âFrom the start, the IEBC was illegally releasing unverified results to create the expectation of an Uhuru Kenyatta victory. This was the equivalent of guaranteeing violence if the final verified results indicated Uhuru had lost,â Odinga said.
