Deputy President William Ruto caused a storm on social media after a tweet in which he seemingly prayed for free and fair polls on Tuesday.

Through his tweeter account, the DP stated:

A section of Kenyans immediately responded with some joking that God should first to destroy the land grabbers in Kenya.

Another section joined Ruto in praying for peaceful and credible polls on Tuesday.

President Uhuru Kenyatta will be facing his arch rival Raila Odinga tomorrow with both leaders exuding confidence that they will win.

Politicians and religious leaders across the country have been urging the Kenyans to maintain peace.
