NASA principal embarrassed at funeral

NASA principal and ODM leader Raila Odingas running mate Kalonzo Musyoka encountered a difficult period during the burial of Kitui Senator David Musilas mother.

Trouble began when he stood to address mourners but first sought to clear the air that he never interfered with Kitui primaries, which saw incumbent Julius Malombe retain the ticket for Wiper party in the Kitui gubernatorial race.

Just as he began to speak, kalonzo was booed by the gathering and forced to end his speech. "We have had a long history. When Musila resigned as Wiper chairman and ditched the party, I refused to reply to his letter." If he wins as Governor, well and good. But if he doesn't, then he will have to come back and resume his seat in Wiper party as chairman," Kalonzo stated.However, the mourners, most of who were Musila's supporters, angrily jeered at him compelling the former vice president to hurriedly conclude his speech.After the Wiper nominations, musila stated that the nominations were tampered with and announced that he would run for the Kitui governor's seat as an independent candidate.

His sentiments were echoed by Machakos senator Johnson Muthama who alleged that Kalonzo had preferred candidates in Wiper.Tension has been high in Wiper since the nominations with a section of Kamba leaders claim they got a raw deal in NASA-led by Francis Nyenze.
