Opposition chief Raila Amolo Odinga ha exposed a team, which he alleges to be behind his protracted woes in National Super Alliance (NASA) camp.

Raila in an interview with The Standard, shortly after his return form a US tour to a NASA storm, has blamed the government of deploying its National Intelligence Service team to feed the media with vague information on the discord in NASA.

“Their aim is to make our supporters give up and also to break up the Opposition,” Raila said adding that the hyped break up in NASA is hypothetical.

The former premier has faulted Jubilee administration of using State resources to orchestrate NASA’s fallout, using the taxpayers money.

“NIS is busy profiling the Opposition and is now duping the business community on how the NASA regime would be bad,” he told the daily.

Raila’s claims come amid fears expressed by Amani National Congress Musalia Mudavadi’s that there is heat in the opposition on the best way to pick om the candidate.

Already, the jittery Kalonzo Musyoka, who has also left the country, has submitted his nomination papers to his party for the presidency post, in preparation for the August polls.

Media reports, which Odinga rubbishes, indicates that Senator Orengo, who form part of the 12-men team set to oversee the picking of the candidate to fly the flag for NASA, insisted that “we will do all we can to have Raila on the ballot.”

Orengo spoke while in Mombasa over the weekend, flanked by the party deputy leader and Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho.

There has been an equal disquiet from the Moses Wetangula Ford Kenya camp and Musalia’s Amani camp, with leaders from Ukambani, including Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama, former Lands Minister Martha Karua among others, insisting that Kalonzo be made the flag bearer threatening to lead a mass exodus from NASA, if Musyoka is denied the chance.
