A woman has reportedly given birth during the voting exercise in Pokot County.

The woman is said to have given birth at Konyao Mixed Secondary School , Kapchok  in Pokot North.

Reports indicate that she has already received assistance from medics.

Meanwhile, Kenyans turned out to vote in large numbers on Tuesday across the country.

The main candidates in the Presidential race, Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga have already casted their votes at different polling stations.

Majority of the leaders vying for different positions have also voted.
