Top Nation editor joins government after Citizen TV's Farida Karoney

She has landed a plum job.

We have now come to learn that Beatrice Obwocha the online sub-editor for the Nation Media Group in Kenya has been picked by Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui to serve in his government.

As Business Today reports, Beatrice Obwocha will be serving as his Director of Communications.

This comes about a month after KTN reporter Carol Nderi was poached by the Nyeri County Government. Carol was stationed in Nyeri for 5 years as a KTN reporter before she was appointed as the Director of Communications Nyeri County.
