In a message to Jeff Koinange while he hosted Collymore’s ‘Boys club’ on JKLive, Wambui requested that no one wears black clothes, because they will not be mourning her husband.
She said instead, they will be celebrating his life.
“Jeff tell people not to wear black, wear colourful stuff because we are not mourning Bob, we are celebrating him,” she said.
First message
Wambui's request came shortly after she spoke for the first time, after her husband's death.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Wambui said she was grateful for the love she had received as she grieved for her husband.
She went on to say that the love messages demonstrate the true character of the man she fell in love with.
“I am overwhelmed by all the love and beautiful messages I have been receiving from you all here. It is a true testament to the character of the special man I was lucky to love. I can't respond to all your messages but know that I have read and received your warmth. Thank you,” she wrote.
