Judy Mutave has opened up about her relationship with House of Grace Bishop David Muriithi's with whom they have a 2 year old son.

Speaking during an interview with Radio Jambo's Massawe Japanni on Wednesday, September 8, Judy revealed that the two met at a club and started going out together.

Mutave said that the two were planning to have child in 2018 which led her to terminate her family planning methods and shorty after, she found out she was pregnant.

"What is out there is false because we did not meet in 2018, that was when we decided to have a baby. I wasn't married to him and I knew he was married," the lady spoke.

She found out she was pregnant after David took her to hospital for medical attention because she had a problem with her reproductive system.

"One day he came by and as we were relaxing as usual, he told me he wants to go play golf but before he left he asked how I was feeling and I told him that my cycle was still irregular. He suggested a short term family planning method because we were thinking of having a child. I didn't know I had already concieved.

"He dropped me at Lang'ata Hospital and went to play golf. When I took a pregnancy test at the hospital, it turned out positive. I was shocked because the baby we were planning to concieve was already here," Mutave recalled.

She said that she was afraid to tell the Bishop right away because she feared his reaction and claimed he was violent.

"He is not a man who likes being confronted, he will beat you up. We have even gone to visit my parents with a black eye, I had to conceal it," Mutave claimed.

However she said that reporting the matter to the police was not an option since he always accused her of provoking him.

"Have you ever been a zombie in a relationship," she asked Massawe just before breaking into tears.

"The same time I was pregnant there was someone who tried to get him to join free masonry. He brought me the book and I burned it, he knows it," she added.

Mutave is now embroiled in a child support case with the House of Grace Bishop.

In his defence, Bishop Muriithi said he could only manage to provide a monthly upkeep of Sh10, 000, since he is poor and depends on church donations to survive.

“I offer to take full responsibility of paying fees for the minor as well as payment of 10,000 per month for the minor’s upkeep bearing in mind my limited means and family responsibility,” said Bishop David Muriithi.

“When I met the applicant she was living in her own rented house with her other teenage child sired from a different relation where she paid her own rent”

“The first time I learnt of the pregnancy was long after the relationship ended when I called to say hello and in the process she casually informed me that she was at St. Mary to deliver a baby which shocked me and so she is lying that I knew about the pregnancy,” reads court papers.
