Singer Moji Short Baba and Nyawira Gachugi holds “Ruracio” days after engagement (Photos)

Gospel singer and former Kelele Takatifu Member Moji Short Baba held a private traditional wedding popularly known as Ruracio with the love of his life Nyawira Gachugi days after he proposed to her.

Ruracio’ is a Kikuyu term for Traditional Bride Price Ceremony. Basically, the groom & his family take a token of appreciation to the bride-to-be home.

On Thursday, Moji and Nyawira took to Instagram to share exquisite photos from their private affair, that is usually used to pay the bride price in readiness of a white wedding.

The Ruracio was graced by family and close friends among them; Ben Cyco and his girlfriend Wanjiru Njiru.

His Fiancée (Gachugi), captioned their Ruracio photos with “There is still so much to be grateful for. The Ruracio come weeks after Moji went on his knee to ask Ms Nyawira’s hand in marriage and replied with a Big YES.
