And she seems to be a better place now that she is separated form her husband of more than 5 years. While many would wallow in grief and bitterness after a stormy divorce, she has decided to use her divorce story for the better and that is to share some lessons on the advantages of being single after a divorce.
She says that separation from her husband has had a positive effect on her as it has made her strong and resilient by forcing her to bring forth her hidden strengths.
“I never said I wanted a 'happy' life but an interesting one. From separation and loss, I have learnt a lot. I have become strong and resilient, as is the case of almost every human being exposed to life and to the world. We don't even know how strong we are until we are forced to bring that hidden strength forward.” She said.
She also went to talk about the pitfalls that can come with relationships and that includes putting your goals on the shelf after getting comfortable.
"Sometimes being in a relationship can make you lazy about developing yourself. You can get so comfortable that your goals take a back seat. When you’re single, it prompts you to look deep inside yourself and identify the person you really want to be—whether you’re in a relationship or not don't let your goals take a back seat." She advised.
