Tina has raised her cute daughter all by her own and recently disclosed that “A single mum has a backbone made of steel and a heart made of gold.”

And as it turns out, her daughter is not the only person she has supported as her efforts to get her cousin into ‘Mother-in-Law’ resorted to the birth of ‘Celina’ from the show.
Speaking on her iconic role during an interview with The Nation Catherine Kamau explained how she landed the role of ‘Celina’. “I got a phone call from my cousin (who plays Tina) that they wanted a girl who could dance. I remember I was getting ready for school that morning. I quickly dressed up and headed to the shoot. I did the role so well that the producer paid me a little more than I was to be paid. I was then told to build on the character Celina. I have worked so hard from an extra to the Celina you now know.”
