Larry Asego leaves Classic 105

The radio presenter is leaving after 10 years

Larry announced his exit through the morning program “Maina and King’ang’i where he was stepping in for Maina Kageni.

“Has it been 10yrs already? Ama nimehesabu vibaya? Let me say thank you very much for the opportunity” wrote Larry on his Instagram

The radio presenter started his journey at Kiss 100 a sister station to Classic 105 where he stayed for 5 years before shifting to Classic.

According to the Radio guru, he was asked to join radio by Daniel Ndumbuki aka Churchill whom they were acting together.

Before his announcement, Asego was hosting the Evening show dubbed #LarryNickandFriends.

In May this year, his Co-Host Nick Odhiambo aka Professor Bamba hanged his boots and later on landed at Radio Maisha to replace Jalang’o who had joined Hot96.

He took to social media to celebrate his co-host with this message “Wishing my brother all the best as he takes the next set of challenges. Uko tu sawaaaa Take care of him when he gets there. Ok now let's go get a drink hizi usoftii tuwache”

Despite his departure, Larry has not revealed his next step.
