Lupita to star in new movie with Rihanna

Dreams have come true for Oscar star Lupita Nyong'o ...

Rihanna and Lupita in 2014

This is after sources at Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Lupita will co-star in a Netflix movie directed by Ava DuVernay.

Ava has directed critically-acclaimed movie 'Selma' while Issa Rae who is the executive producer of 'Insecure' will be writing the screenplay.

The movie concept was lifted from a Twitter meme that was created after Lupita and Rihanna were spotted sitting front row at a Miu Miu fashion show back in 2014.

People felt that the two would make a great scammer movie with Rihanna being the swindler who scams white rich people and Lupita as the genius sidekick who crafts the swindling ideas.

Netflix is said to have bagged the project after a dramatic negotiation session at The Cannes Film Festival.
