Jason Derulo's promise to Rayvanny revealed
Rayvanny is the only East African singer nominated for this year’s BET Awards.
During an interview on XXL of Clouds FM, Platnumz revealed that Rayvanny will be recording a song with Jason Derulo when he goes for the BET Awards.
According to Platnumz, Derulo was impressed so much by Rayvanny’s talent and therefore promised to record a song with him while in the USA.
Rayvanny and Jason Derulo met at Coke Studio Africa where they made the deal of recording a song together.
Rayvanny is the only East African singer who has been nominated for this year’s BET Awards.
This will be the second time a WCB member will be recording a song with an American singer, after Diamond who released a collabo with Ne-Yo.
However, Platnumz also explained why his designer QBoy Msafi was expelled from Wasafi Records.
Platnumz argued that QBoy made a mistake at WCB and when he was suspended he decided to shift his attention away from WCB.
“I have always respected Qboy has my designer at WCB but his behavior made me part ways with him. We wanted him to learn a lesson from his mistakes but he decided to walk away.” Said Platnumz.
He added that he never wanted Qboy to sing as he was too good in design and therefore he wanted him to open one of the biggest designer shops in Tanzania but he never listened.
Diamond also added that one time his biggest Videographer and graphic designer was suspended for 6 months but later brought back.
