Singer Diamond Platnumz’s official photographer Kifesi announced on Saturday that he had quit working for the singer and his WCB Company as well after 5 years.

Kifesi said that Diamond has been more than a friend to him and it was hard for him to make the decision to leave Wasafi. He however said that he had left to pursue his dream life.

“I quit working to pursue my dreams life which is to employ myself, to have more time and to be flexible and use most of my time to unleash my potential for excellence,” he said.

He said that the major reason he quit working for Diamond is because he wants to be close to God as a Christian because he has been working in an environment that has not been pleasing God.

“It’s has been a serious issue and I have not been in peace in all the years but at the end we all need to choose God over everything. What will fame and worldly glory benefit me if I miss the kingdom of God?” he said in his Swahili statement.

Kifesi said he had decided to drop everything to have peace of mind, do his works, live his life and have time with God.

According to his Instagram profile, Kifesi is a Christian under the Seventh Day Adventist denomination.
