Diamond Platnumz Father Mzee Abdul Juma has officially joined the music industry after dropping his first music video “Umeniteka” featuring Sungura Madini, Promis Nyota and Blod.

Mzee Abdul’s move, which got Tanzanian’s by surprise, received a positive reception with many Instagram users sharing the song widely.

The new hit also got Chibu Dangote’s attention who ended up sharing it via his Insta-stories with the caption “Big Lion Kill dem shaa!”.

In the new song, Mzee Abdul Juma has acquired a number of stage names; Big Lion, Mzee Mondi and Babu Tiffah.

The song has elicited mixed reactions among Netizens, with many congratulating him for the bold move.

He mentioned that people judged him harshly based on untrue stories they had read or heard on what led to their separation with his ex-wife (Bi Sandrah Dangote).
