NTV’s DJ Mo publicly embarrasses Kenyan Artist who bribed him Sh20,000 to play his songs

Interesting twist

NTV’s disk jockey DJ Mo has publicly embarrassed a Kenyan artist who bribed him Ksh 20,000 to play his songs.

This has come hot on the hills after Nexxie, an upcoming artist accused the NTV DJ of asking Sh 20,000 from him and failing to play his song.

DJ Mo has laid blame on Nexxie saying he is looking for fame through him. The nation media group deejay narrated the ordeal in a long Instagram post.

In a nutshell, Mo claims Nexxie approached him to ask for advise on how to be famous and he was given the words of wisdom he so much needed. After the musician went  home he sent the selector sh 20,000. On seing the M-Pesa message Mo sent back the money to Nexxie’s manager called Joyce kinyanjui.

To his surprise the musician resurfaces with claims with a screenshot of the M-Pesa text with allegations. The pancake turner says he never ask artistes for money to play their music.

‘If money is sent to me so as to push a song on any of my platforms, I refund it. The screenshots above are evidence of that,’ Mo stated

Mo evidently furious added, “I recently did a post on this. The guy who purports that I asked to be paid to play his music is clearly on a witch hunt. As y'all can see, he wants to make a name for himself using the wrong channels. Fame, money and status is what he's looking for. He also wants to join System Unit family (see screenshots). Surely, when will the selfishness and hate stop?

I'm not into causing scenes. One thing I'll assure you all is that I'm done playing nice.”

On the other hand Nexxie alleges to have been promised what he termed as ‘a raise to stardom’ in a period of two months through consistent airplays and interviews.

To get there Nexxie claims he had to part with Ksh 20,000 which he adds that to him it was a big deal considering he is the bread winner of his family.

“To me, it was not just 20,000; it was my whole life,” Nexxie says.
