She sent out this message to announce her departure “It's been a great 6yrs at KTN. Thank you. Hello DW-TV. East African correspondent twende kazi.”
After working for one and a half years as a correspondent, Edith was moved permanently to Berlin Germany as a news anchor.
Since DW is a content partner with KTN, Joy Doreen Biira was picked to present environmental issues and solutions from East Africa in DW’s Environment Magazine ‘Eco-at-Africa.’
As Doreen wows us in her segment, Edith recently made her debut at DW and she looked very fly.
She captioned the photo “After a 1.5 year hiatus, I'm back on set. #anchorwoman for DW news. I am as happy as I am excited. The 'comeback' streaming now on dw.com
This is really fantastic! Its always nice to see one of our own killing it in the international scene.
