For Bishop Wanjiru, it was the possibility of spending 5 days in prison and also facing 2 years at a correction facility for creating disturbance doing the Jubilee party primaries.

The ‘good’ Bishop was accused of storming into a Jubilee party polling station with a crowd of 50 men at City Park Market and causing melee during the voting exercise.

In addition, she was accused of maliciously destroying ballot boxes and ballot papers worth 30,000 Kshs. Luckily for her, she managed to slither out of the 5 day prison time after she was released on a Ksh 100,000 cash bail by the High Court overruling the 5 day detention handed to her by a Nairobi Chief Magistrate
