Emmy Kosgei leaves tongues wagging after kneeling for her husband

Would you kneel for your husband?

And heads definitely turned when Boss Lady Zari Hassan also dropped to her knees to greet Diamond and his mum Sandra who had flown to Uganda to condole with the Hassan family after Zari’s mum death.

The actions of these Ugandan ladies elicited grumbling from many watching internationally as they argued that one should only kneel for God but for Ugandans this is customary and since then we have seen more alpha women go down on their knees to greet elders.

Most recently, songstress Emmy Kosgei roused emotions and left tongues wagging after kneeling in front of her hubby Anselm Madubuko as a way of showing respect.

“Humility is never a weakness in life. Pride, as they say, comes before a fall, it doesn't hurt to humble yourself and it doesn't take anything out of you it actually adds! You remain a rib and helper to him regardless of your status financially or otherwise, must you be right always? Must your point come through always? Must you announce your contribution to your marriage? Must it be known that you do all things? Learn to tame your character, learn to bite your tongue. Treat him like a king that he is, love and honour him.... some little acts look foolish but it adds value! Do it out of love! Wisdom is profitable! Step down from the 7th floor. #Godinthecentre #silencehaspower #stayhumble #killpride #relationshipgoals#wekeeplearning.” Read the caption of the photo of Emmy kneeling before her husband.

Her act of kneeling before her husband might be one Emmy’s most divisive actions yet as some people were really into it and branded this act as true love while others argued that we should only kneel before God.
