Raila Odinga
The former Prime Minister and the Leader of the NASA Coalition tops the list of politicians who owns the most expensive houses in Kenya.
In 2014, Odinga put up a Sh1 billion hill-side palatial residence in Riat Kisumu, branded “Raila’s State House”.
According to Insiders who have managed to pay a visit to the former prime Minister, the house has a total of 74 rooms with 10 bedrooms, four expansive kitchens, two main conference rooms, two small conference rooms a collective many offices.
In addition, the KSh 1 billion house has an Olympic size swimming pool, several Jacuzzis and a helipad big enough to have two choppers landing at a go.
At some point, the PM was under pressure from family members to convert it into a hotel facility but he stuck his ground on the home idea. His will has prevailed to date.
