Wafula resigned after Ng'ang'a outburst

Former Neno Evangelism Bishop Robert Wafula Opens own church

Former Neno Evangelism Church Bishop Robert Wafula has opened his own church weeks after bitter fall out with Apostle James Nga’ang’a.

Wafula, who used to be in charge of the Neno Evangelism –Mombasa Branch resigned early June, after Ng’ang’a accused three of his Bishops of disrespecting him and his wife.

Bishop Wafula has launched a new church titled ‘Shalom Miracle Church” that will be operating at the Tononoka grounds in Mombasa, every Sunday.

Following the opening of Shalom Miracle Church, it's Bishop will be having a prayer service every Tuesday at Mombasa Women Hall from 5.30pm.

Wafula’s resignation

Wafula’s resignation caused confusion in the Mombasa based church, as reports indicated that he moved with a significant number of the congregation.

Before his exit, the Man of God had mentioned that if Ng’ang’a, had issues with him and other Bishops he could have called for a meeting instead of going public.

“If he had issues with us, he should have called us for a meeting. But declaring in public that he will kick us out means he no longer wants to work with us. I would rather leave than wait for him to do what he threatened,” Wafula said.

Disrespect

Pastor Ng’ang’a had threatened to close down all Neno church branches if the bishops defied his orders.

He argued that his bishops openly disrespected his wife and dismissed her instructions due to her young age.

Insiders revealed that the bishops were increasingly becoming uncomfortable with Ng’ang’a’s numerous scandals and negative publicity ranging from marital issues, charges of fraud and even accusations of murder.
