Popular gospel singer causes pandemonium with his new love song

The thin line between a plain love song and gospel song has seen faithful grumble in fear of losing a saved soul to earthly pleasures.

Gospel singer Papa Dennis boasts of several gospel hits like; ‘Injili’, ‘Foundation’ ft Daddy Owen ‘Makeke’ among others.

Fresh from performing at AFRIMMA Awards, an event where Diamond and him were the only artists who dropped performances, Papa Dennis released a song dubbed ‘Sorry’, a love song. Listen to it below:

Dennis’ fans expressed concerns the gospel star could be taking the path to secular industry when they heard ‘Sorry’.

Kelvin Young: I fill sorry 4u koz at last dhe devil will take everydhing for u en I know ur not happy

Jael Nabibia: you r no longer in gospel papa it's ok love song will pay u go back to where God brought u omwanawefwe

Berrick Kinyanjui: Gospel luv songs au secular

The sensation gospel singer had to respond to mounting worry from his fans; he explained that he remains a gospel singer and that he was only inspired to release ‘Sorry’ so that it could be played in weddings and Christian parties.

“I want to assure my true fans that papa Dennis is not going to do dirty love songs I remain a gospel artist what I am doing is to give you guys something you can play during your weddings Christian parties etc. I will purely do family love songs the one you can seat Down with you parents and listen to please go read songs of Solomon in the Bible and you will understand what I am singing about.” Papa Dennis posted on Facebook.
