Grammy Awards manger’s promise to Diamond after visiting their offices in US

World Music Manager at Grammy Awards Marlon Fuentes promised WCB President Diamond Platnumz that he will be part of its Recording Academy to represent the Sound and culture from East Africa.

In a post on his Instagram, Fuentes acknowledged Platnumz for being an incredible act and always giving his best whenever on stage.

He also saluted Chibu Dangote for hitting the studio with legendary producer Swizz Beatz and his wife Alicia Keys upon his touch down in Los Angeles, USA.

Much Respect to Simba

“Respect to SIMBA – @diamondplatnumz one of the biggest artists in the world by way of Tanzania 🇹🇿! He’ll be joining the @recordingacademy soon to represent the sound and culture of today and tomorrow. The day after we took this photo, he gave an incredible show to a loving audience here in LA. The man is humble for commanding the attention of millions of fans and his work and willingness to collaborate is so real. A day before this he was in the studio with Swizz Beats and @aliciakeys. Wishing him the very best 💯🙏🏽❤️#afrobeats #afrobongo #tanzania #eastafrica #jeje #simba #babalao #simba #diamondplatinumz Cc: @amplifyafrica @okayafrica @bbcafrica @recordingacademy @worldwide.fm @spotifyafrohub @colorsxstudios @npr @globalizationsxm @babutale,” shared Marlon Fuentes.

Fuentes went ahead attend Platnumz show in Los Angeles, commending him for giving an incredible show at a sold out venue.

Incredible show

“EAST AFRICA, STAND UP! #SIMBA - aka @diamondplatnumz - gave an incredible show tonight – straight from the heart and the audience could feel it. 🇹🇿❤️ He performed a long set up to the last minute the venue would allow, dancing, singing, giving it all for his fans. For an artist used to packing stadiums abroad this was so legit of him. #diamondplatinumz #afrobongo #babalao #jeje #afrobeats Cc: @amplifyafrica @okayafrica @recordingacademy @babutale @sallam_sk,” wrote Fuentes.

Over the weekend, Diamond was in the US, performing at the Fonda Theatre in LA.
