Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has revealed hidden details about her man in her heartwarming remarks.

Waiguru in a report by Standard, on her engagement said that when she was making headlines for the wrong reasons, her city lawyer boyfriend Kamotho Waiganjo stood by her and was very supportive.

In her own words, Waiganjo is an exceptional man and there is no other man like him.

“He is an exceptional man. There is no other like him. He was my pillar at the time and has always been. Kind, patient, supportive and level headed,” said Governor Waiguru.

The Kirinyaga Governor’s words came after she got engaged to the man of her dreams at a lavish ceremony held at the Lord Eroll hotel in Nairobi, bringing an end to speculations on her love life that has remained private despite her high flying career.

The event was held on 16 February 2019, two days after Valentine’s Day.

According to Waiguru, she did expect the engagement and that it came as a surprise because they had never talked about formalizing their relationship.

“I was completely surprised. We had not been talking about formalizing our relationship so I did not expect it. We had just come from holidays and were celebrating his birthday as we do with close friends every year,” she said.

The two love birds are divorced from their previous marriages and have been seeing one another for the past 10 years.
