As Maribe turned a year older on Tuesday, her close friend Dennis Itumbi jotted down a sweet poem.

A poem that has caused quite a commotion on social media especially after Jowie and Jackie embraced in court.

Fans took to social media to mock him while others encouraged him to pursue Maribe and his replies had the same vibe, that he is a true friend to Maribe nothing more.

When mocked with a picture of Maribe hugging Jowie, Itumbi replied with “The poems will continue. When the time comes for marriage, I will take the microphone during the reception and recite a poem. It shall be on FB Live.”

In another post, a fan wrote “My prayer is that Jacque Maribe should someday give Dennis Itumbi a chance to love her properly. It has been a long time and the comrade seems to genuinely love her.”

A comment that Itumbi replied with “We are good friends for life. Mimi niko friend zone and I am happy there”

As pressure mounted on Itumbi to get back with besieged Citizen TV journalist Jacque Maribe, Maribe disclosed that what they have is deeper than a friendship. This was in an article by SDE.

When Itumbi told Maribe that “People are saying I am trying to win you back.” Maribe responded with “Tell them, we share a soul. Something deeper than love, a friendship that words can only spell but not explain.”
