Julie Gichuru in trouble over IEBC comments

Since she threw her weight behind President Uhuru Kenyatta for his stab at the second term in office, Kenyans have not been very pleased with Kenya’s sweetheart, Julie Gichuru.

Some felt that her public support of a regime that has been accused of grand corruption, extra-judicial killings and empty promises is a grand betrayal to the people who loved her for her wholesome nature.

She has now been caught up in another Twitter firestorm after urging Kenyans to let IEBC do their job and demanding for safety to be guaranteed to IEBC staff.
