He is Back! Top NTV Anchor makes comeback 1 year after quitting for greener Pastures

Home sweet Home

NTV's Edmond Nyabola with John Ngoiri

Former NTV Journalist Edmond Nyabola has made a come to the Nation Media owned TV station a year after calling it quits.

In February 2018, Nyabola who used to host a sports show “Top Sport” announced his exit from NTV and joined CGTN for new assignments.

However, Nyabola has made a U-turn, reconciling with his former employer. On January 15th, Nyabola hinted that he was coming back to NTV

"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style," said Maya Angelou. See you soon...” wrote Nyabola on Twitter.

Going through his Twitter Bio, its evident that Nyabola has reconnected with NTV, with new assignments on his name.

Nyabola exited NTV after a period of five years. “It has been FIVE great years with NTV Kenya (NMG). I have worked with an excellent team, learnt aplenty, grown immensely, interviewed great people and won awards. It is time, however, to move on to something else. Gutted that I am leaving a place that will forever be home to me. Maybe someday I will be back, but until then, be well, Twin Towers.” Wrote Edmond Nyabola

CGTN Africa is the African bureau of China Global Television Network, the English-language news channel run by Chinese state broadcaster China Central Television. It is based in Nairobi and manages bureaux across Africa
