Kanze Dena’s confession after meeting Rose Muhando at Rev. Natasha’s Church

State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena has made a rare confession after meeting singer Rose Muhando at Rev. Lucy Natasha’s church.

Addressing the congregation, Kanze revealed that when she was young, Rose Muhando’s songs gave her comfort because she had a troubled past.

She pointed out that she was experiencing a lot of challenges at the time and used to listen to the song ‘Nipe Uvumilivu’ and cry, as she challenged Gospel singers to be mindful of how their music impact people’s lives.

The Head of PSCU further disclosed that even as Ms Muhando underwent the challenges she has been through the past few years, she was following and always prayed for her.

I want to speak two things, one to Rose Muhando and I want to use her as an example… My first challenge is to every Gospel artiste, wimbo unaouimba unabadilisha maisha vipi? Wimbo wake huo mimi ulinifanya nikamfuata Rose Muhando na siku niliposikia kwamba kuna jambo limemtendekea na amepitia bonde la mauti, bila yeye kufahamu nilikuwa ninaomba na nilikuwa ninafuatilia,” she said.

Ms Dena encouraged Rose Muhando not to give up, as she prayed for her saying that this is her time to do the work of God, despite all she has been through.

Alipoinuka, nilisema ya kwamba ndio wakati sasa bwana ana andaa meza mbele ya watesi wake na ana muanika na kumpaka kikombe that she will stand. The cup is overflowing Muhando you have gone through the valley and the shadow of death, you shall stand. If for nothing else, for the glory of God,” added Kanze Dena.
