NTV entertainment news anchor Kimani Mbugua has left the Nation Media Group (NMG).

Kimani made the announcement on his twitter handle while reminiscing his moments at the Aga Khan-owned media house.

“Leaving  after three awesome years at the @NationMediaGrp, this home will be missed together with all who made this young boy's dreams possible. Sasa naenda ivi nakam,” he said.

The Moi University graduate started his career at NMG as a radio presenter before transiting to TV. Apart from this, he was also a Digital Producer at NTV.

Kimani is known for his charm and relaxed way of anchoring news. He once admitted on Live TV that he had a crush on former NTV news anchor Lizz Ntonjira.
