KTN News Prime time News anchor Yussuf Ibrahim has called it quits from the Standard Group media house.

In a tweet, Yussuf announced that Wednesday was his last day working at the media station as he bid farewell to KTN News viewers.
He went on to say that he had a good time at KTN and he was looking forward to taking on a new challenge to add diverse experience to his career, but did not disclose where his next stop would be.
“I want to bid farewell to all @KTNKenya viewers. Today marks my last day with @KTNKenya It's been an amazing journey. I now look forward to a new position that brings forth new challenges and adds more diverse experience to my career.. Thank you all for the support #KTNPrime,” read Yussuf Ibrahim’s tweet.
He joined the Standard Group in April 2017 where he used to host a weekly magazine show called Bottomline Africa and was later on moved to Prime time News where he co-anchored with Akisa Wandera.
Yussuf becomes the latest big name to leave KTN few months after Yvonne Okwara, Joe Ageyo, Mashirima Kapombe, Asha Mwilu, Abuller Ahmed, Francis Mtalaki and Zindzi Kibiku.
Career
Yussuf started his career as a radio reporter at the Royal Media Services Hot 96 before he moved to Citizen TV where he worked for a year.
In 2013, he joined the Mediamax’s K24 TV where he worked for four years before he moved to KTN News.
