Miguna Miguna announces return after BBI report launch

Exiled Lawyer Miguna Miguna has announced his return to Kenya after President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga released to the public, the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.

Miguna in a post on Facebook said he was planning another trip to Kenya to test whether the President and the former Prime Minister meant everything they said during the launch.

He went on to dare them to prove their seriousness by obeying the court orders that asked government to return Miguna's Kenyan passport and ensure unconditional return.

I'm organizing another journey to Kenya to TEST the seriousness of the Despot and Con-Man. They have publicly stated that they respect CITIZENSHIP RIGHTS and want to UNITE KENYANS. To prove that they are serious, let them OBEY COURT ORDERS and give me my Passport. #BurnBBIReport #RejectBBI #DespotsMustFall,” wrote Miguna Miguna.

BBI Report

During the launch of the BBI report, President Uhuru and Odinga called on political leaders to shun from the politics of division and unite the nation, as they also called on Kenyans to read the BBI document, and give their views.

Deported

The exiled lawyer was first deported for swearing in Raila Odinga as the People’s President in an event that saw thousands of Kenyans turn up at Nairobi’s Uhuru Park grounds.

Miguna attempted to make entry into Kenya after High Court Judge George Odunga ordered for his unconditional release and instructed that he appeared before the court, but he could not go past the airport (JKIA).

He was later on seized and detained in a cell at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) before he was deported back to his last port of call (Dubai)
