Nyashiski, Khaligraph, Nikita Kering among Kenyans nominated at All Africa Music Awards- AFRIMA Awards

The list of Nominees for the 6th edition of All Africa Music Awards popularly known as AFRIMA is out and heavyweights in the music industry are set to compete for the coveted Awards.

The 2019 Awards will see stakeholders in the music industry converge in Nigeria come November to celebrate milestones achieved by different stars in their respective fields.

Kenyan Nominees

Kenya will be represented by the new kid on the block Nikita Kering who has been nominated in the Best Female Artiste category in East Africa alongside Vanessa Mdee, Queen Darleen, Nandy, Rosa Ree, Sheebah, Maua Sama and Irene Namatovu.

In the Male category titled “Best Male Artiste Eastern Africa” Kenya’s Khaligraph Jones and Nyashinski with battle out with Diamond Platnumz, Harmonize, Mbosso, Rayvanny, Shyn and Boy Black.

The 5th edition of AFRIMA was held in Accra, Ghana on November, 24, 2018.

The awards seek to celebrate and reward African talents who have done exceedingly well in the year. With a total of 36 categories, the 6th AFRIMA Awards has been divided in Regional and Continental categories.
