Muna Love narrates how Mercy Masika helped with her late son Patrick

Her late son died in Nairobi while receiving treatment

In her briefing Muna, disclosed how Kenyan Gospel artiste Mercy Masika was instrumental in her stay in Nairobi while nursing her son.

“Tulipofika Kenya Tulipokelewa na Mercy pamoja na mume wake.  Kisha baaada ya kukaa nao wakaniunganishawa na Daktari mkubwa watoto nchini Kenya. Hivo tukaenda kumuoa Daktari aliyeitwa Dr.Bore. Daktari akatupa maelezo ya kupata  huduma katika hospital za Nairobi. Kulingana na maelezo ya Daktari tukaona tutamudu huduma ya Nairobi West. Hivyo tukiwa kwenda hospitalini ili Patrick aanze matibabu.” Said Muna Love.

Surgery

She added that Mercy and her husband are the people who helped her get money to deposit at the Nairobi West Hospital so that her child could start treatment.

At Nairobi West, the late Patrick was accorded with first Aid treatment, to prepare him for an operation.

Unfortunately, the 7 year-old went into a comma before the operation began, hence making it difficult for Dr.Bore to carry surgery for brain tumuor.

However, Patrick was unable to come out of the coma alive.

“Baada ya kupata taarifa kuwa Mtoto amefariki, mercy pamoja ma mume wake walinisaidia kupata uhifadhi wa Mwili wa mtoto. Kuna wengine pia kama vile akina DJ MO, Evelyne Wanjiru walichanga fedha ili niweze kusafirisha mwili mpaka Tanzania. Walinipeleka kwa Kampuni ya Lala Salama ambayo ilipewa jukumu la kuitoa maiti Nairobi West Hospital. Tulisaini Mkataba wa kushughulikia mwili wa marehemu kisha tukakata tiketi za Ndege. Sikuweza kufiri na mwili kuwa sababu za clearance kule airport" said Muna.

She also noted that Mercy Masika’s husband offered to take charge of transporting the body of the late Patrick Peter to Tanzania after logistics at the Airport delayed their clearance with the body of the late.

Ms Masika was among celebrities who attended the burial in Tanzania.
