This comes after the a report released by Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch has brought to light the brutal killing of 33 Kenyans located in Nairobi after the August 8 General Election.

According to the research, police are responsible for the deaths.

The two bodies accuse officers of using excessive force to quell riots that erupted after President Uhuru Kenyatta was announced winner of the polls.

The findings show that scores were shot by police officers while others were beaten to death.

At the same time, the reports indicate that some Kenyans suffocated from inhaling teargas lobbed by police.

As per the study, most of the people killed were from areas perceived to be a stronghold of the National Super Alliance (NASA).

Kawangware, Kibera, Mathare, Dandora, Babadogo, and Wanyee are some of the locations in the report where the deaths were witnessed in Nairobi.

A 9-year-old girl named Stephanie Moraa is the youngest on the list and she was shot at her home in Mathare where she was playing on the balcony.
