Kenya Power makes important announcement to Kenyans over tokens delay

According to Text messages sent to their esteemed customers, Kenyans have been advised to buy tokens from banking halls due to the delays being experienced.
“Dear esteemed customer,
We are experiencing delays in prepaid token generation. You can buy tokens from our banking halls countrywide. Please bear with us as we resolve the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience caused," part of the message read.
Majority of Kenyans disclosed that they were unable to get tokens after paying through Safaricom’s M-pesa 24-hours after purchase.
The company’s lines, 0703070707 and 0732 170 170, which are meant to respond to customer’s queries are also busy throughout.

Many consumers said they were forced to stay without power even after making the payments and money deducted from their mobile money wallet.
