Larry Madowo takes ‘cheap shot’ at PLO Lumumba

The NTV news anchor is not impressed by PLO.

His off-the-cuff use of legal jargon like “The schizophrenic jurisprudence with which the petitioner trioxidated the submission is gastrocnemius”  floored Kenyans who wondered out aloud how one person could grasp such ‘big words’.

But Larry Madowo is not impressed by ‘kizungu mingi’ as he decided to take a swipe at PLO with a tweet that dragged his plagiarism scandal from the woodworks.

A while back the former anti-graft agency boss was sued over plagiarism and intellectual theft. Lumumba was accused of lifting close to 5,000 words from an article written by Wachira Maina for the East African newspaper to write an article called  ‘From Jurisprudence to Poliprudence: the Kenyan Presidential Election Petition 2013’ that was published in the Law Society of Kenya Journal.

Larry sarcastically Tweeted “Nice to see PLO Lumumba using (mostly) his own words for a change”

However Kenyans were not impressed by what they called a 'cheap shot' at PLO and sent out these replies to Larry:

Ruot Kenya‏ @OtienoRuot: Are you part of the mob, or why the cheap shot? Like it or not, PLO has landed the case an uppercut!

Kihuria Wa Ndorongo‏ @KihuriaJohnteh: The plagiarism case is not in anyway connected to the Elections petition today.

Ann Ndegwa‏ @annyndegwa: That he is a good orator, is not debatable regardless of accusations. He reminds me of the late Wamalwa Kijana. Articulate to the core!
