In an update on Instagram, the Tetema hit-maker asked netizens to refrain from impersonating him and trying portray him in a bad way.
He insisted that he doesn't use Facebook and people should not be fooled by any account under his name.

Vannyboy’s explanation comes days after a Facebook page operating under his name poked fan at Tanasha and Diamond’s alleged breakup.
The account that has now turned out to be fake had said;“Asanteni kwa Watoto ..tumemalizana na East Africa Jee ..Mantaka Simba Asongee Nchi gani tena. Oooh!!! Poleni Bado Naskia Rwanda and Burundi ndo tumalizane na Mambo ya East Africa.”

The statement angered a number of Kenyans who went ham on the account, stating that the words were disrespectful towards women.
Despite, Rayvanny distancing himself from the controversial page, a section of his fans found it had to believe him based on the fact that the page usually duplicates all his Instagram feeds.
