Larry Madowo, Anne Kiguta and other celebrities mourn NTV's Janet Kanini

On September 2015, Janet Kanini Ikua was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer, the same cancer that had tragically claimed her father’s life 8 years earlier.

And in February 2016 she announced that she was cancer free. “My dear friends, relatives, colleagues, supporters, prayer warriors. I have wonderful news! Our prayers have been answered! I am redeemed from the affliction of cancer!” She posted.

Unfortunately, a year after she was announced that she was free of cancer, the scourge which we thought she was cured of reappeared aggressively and claimed her life.

Celebrities have taken to various platforms to mourn this wonderful warrior and here are a few messages from them:
