Many wondered why they took so long to come out in public, but Chiki Onwukwe revealed that they decided to keep their life private for a while before they went public.
"We dated for a whole year before we decided to go public about our love affair. The only reason we decided to go public was for people to see that what we have is real. We did not want to go into stories of cheating, neither did we want to let people start suggesting that either of us had gotten a "sponsor"," she revealed to SDE.
Aside from having a beautiful face, Chiki is hardworking too and was on the sixth season of Slim Possible as a fitness instructor and dance choreographer.

She is now back at Citizen TV for an all-women show. Chiki will now be part of an all-women panel TV show on Citizen TV every Friday from 8.00 am alongside Massawe Jappani and Kristine Mwangi a former K24 presenter.
In addition, she is an instructor for Eddah's Hope Cancer Foundation campaign, a cause that is close to her as she lost two loved ones to the scourge.
